Transaction Notification Engine
TNE - The Transaction Notification Engine is a
real time solution which manages every BCI transaction, captures actual AGS
errors and delivers notification to distribution lists. The Transaction Streamer
allows you to monitor live transactions passing through BCI at real-time.
Using either existing BCI Clients or our proprietary transaction daemon BCI
transactions are processed and recorded in the TNE database. As AGS errors are
detected and the TNE retrieves the error messages and stores them in the TNE
database. Notifications are distributed according to distribution lists.
The Transaction Streamer allows real-time streaming of transactions to the
browser via a HTML only interface driving via ASP or PERL depending on client
preference. Transaction detail can be viewed for each transaction through the
browser in addition to the actual transaction itself. E-mail notifications are
sent containing a link to a query statement pointing to the transaction.
The status of TNE records can be changed through a Lawson screen using either
LID or the Lawson® Portal. Features like escalation and comment management make
the TNE a complete solution.
A batch transaction report provides a quick glance at fully parameterized
transactions within seconds and on demand while a nightly reconciliation report
ensures no transactions are unaccounted for. The reconciliation report also
provides useful metrics to help determine how well different types of
transactions are being processed by BCI.
The TNE is more than a transaction notification engine, it a complete
methodology, and an entirely new way to look at BCI and how useful, safe, and
secure it really can be.
